"It was a time of great and exalting excitement. The country was up in arms, the war was on, in every heart burned the holy fire of patriotism; the drums were beating, the bands playing, hissing and spluttering; on every hand and far down the receding and fading spread of roofs and balconies a fluttering wilderness of flags flashed in the sun; daily the young volunteers marched in their new uniforms, the proud fathers and mothers and sisters and sweethearts cheering them with voices choked with happy emotion as they swung by; nightly the packed masses listened, panting, to patriot oratory which stirred the deepest deeps of their hearts, and which they interrupted at briefest intervals with cyclones of applause, the tears running down their cheeks..."

For the netlabel debut of this amazing project we are invited to wrap our ears around a crushing and crumbling harsh noise odyssey - piercing drones mete waves of static, at times pulsating and undulating and at others all-encompassing. A delicious and meticulous interplay develops between more dynamic and dissonantly tonal moments and full harsh noise envelopment. The project as a whole has been a mesmerising addition to the realm of 'ritual harsh noise' and it is a great honour and pleasure to feature a new work here.
